Shop Keyword Research

A personal research tool that uses Google Keyword Planner data to decide which products to make for a small online shop.

What it does

Shop Keyword Research helps its owner, Anshul Jha, plan printable products for a small Etsy shop. For a list of product ideas (for example, "christmas bingo cards" or "winter party games"), it looks up how often people search for those terms on Google and how that interest changes month to month. That shows which ideas have real demand and when in the year to list them.

How it uses Google

• It signs in with the owner's own Google Ads account using Google OAuth, with the Google Ads API scope.
• It calls the Google Ads API Keyword Planner services (keyword ideas and historical search volume).
• It only reads keyword planning data. It does not create, change or pause campaigns or ads, and does not spend money.

Who uses it

Only its owner. It runs on the owner's own computer, is not offered to the public, and has no other users or accounts.
